Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) is an American author, and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Prior to that she was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. In addition, she has made legal commentaries on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She is a regular guest in The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File is hosted by Megyn Kelly. Wiehl graduated from West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at the US Attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She was a tenured professor in legal studies in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
