Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. Her catalog includes more than twenty albums. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock as well as alternative rock, but it includes influences from hip hop, punk and jazz. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement. She was one of the first musicians to launch her own label the year 1990.
