Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine skiing champion who won gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics in 2010. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female skiers and men in terms of super scores. She's one of the top skiers in the world and is also the most popular skier in America. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer that is part of the US Ski Team. There are four overall World Cup victories. She is a well-known athlete throughout American time. She is only one of six women who have been crowned at every single event on the World Cup circuit. She has won more than 82 World Cup titles. After the World Championships in Sweden, one of the top and most accomplished ski racers from America will retire. Following a string of ailments and injuries, the three-time World Cup champion has decided to step down. Her retirement was announced through social media. The final race I will run in my racing career will take place in Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
